🇬🇧 There are 50 competitors registered for the competition from Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Ukraine. The timetable will be updated in the middle of the week to reflect the number of participants in each discipline.

🇬🇧 The estimated temperature at the venue is 18 °C. We were skating there the last weekend and a T-shirt is fine when warmed up, but otherwise you will want to wear long sleeves or a sweater. For parents and organisers warmer clothing is necessary.
🇸🇰 Odhadovaná teplota v hale je 18 °C. Boli sme korčuľovať posledný víkend a dá sa jazdiť po zahriatí v tričku, ale mimo korčuľovania treba mať mikinu. Rodičia a organizátori by si mali do haly vziať teplejšie oblečenie.

🇬🇧 For those coming with a car, you can park on the place marked by the blue arrow. Notice, that entrance to the venue is on the other side of the hall, marked by the yellow arrow.

Badín is small but there are some options there and then close to nearby Sliač aerodrome.

- There are some restaurants at Sliač but we do not have personal experience (na Sliači je aj pár reštaurácií ale nemáme osobnú skúsenosť).
- Koliba Stráže 🚗14 min closer to Zvolen, popular traditional restaurant / highway motorest, lot of parking place and can host many people (obľúbená tradičná koliba pri Zvolene, veľa miest na parkovanie a veľká kapacita)
- Zvolen city (🚗15 min) has plenty of options like McDonald’s, Burger King, KFC, Almada Hotel, Franko, Q-Penzión, etc.

Pozývame vás na súťaž vo freestyle slalom korčuľovaní, ktorá sa uskutoční v sobotu 16.11.2024 v športovej hale v Badíne, neďaleko mesta Zvolen.
Súťaž je organizovaná ako tzv. 1-star (“basic”) pretek pod záštitou World Skate (WS) a Zväzu slovenského kolieskového korčuľovania (ZSKK). Usporiadateľom je Freestyle škola korčuľovania Zvolen.
Korčuliari budú súťažiť v nasledovných disciplínach:
- Freestyle slalom classic (juniori, seniori)
- Freestyle slalom battle (juniori, seniori)
- Kids battle do 10 rokov.
Registrácia závodníka a poplatky
Pre prihlásenie závodníka do súťažných disciplín vyplňte prosím registračný formulár najneskôr do 9.11.2024. Ak sa prihlasujete v kategórii Freestyle Classic, pošlite emailom na adresu organizátorov svoju hudbu organizátorom vo formáte MP3 s názvom priezvisko_meno.mp3 najneskôr do 9.11.2024.
Súťaž je otvorená pre verejnosť a diváci neplatia vstupné.
Registračný poplatok pre závodníkov je 20 EUR na osobu, s výnimkou “Kids Battle do 10 rokov” s registračným poplatkom 10 EUR. Registračný poplatok sa platí v deň súťaže priamo na mieste.
Závodníci si sami hradia náklady, ktoré nesúvisia so samotným súťažením, ako napr. ubytovanie a stravu.
Súťažné pravidlá
Rozhodovanie bude prebiehať súlade s poslednou revíziou World Skate pravidiel:
- Oficiálne World Skate inline freestyle pravidlá v anglickom jazyku
- Slovenský preklad pravidiel
Vítame skúsených, ako i nových korčuliarov, ktorí doteraz ešte nesúťažili. Povolené sú inline i dvojradové korčule. Ženy a muži súťažia osobitne, avšak v prípade nedostatočného počtu účastníkov v niektorej kategórii môže prísť ku vytvorenie zmiešanej kategórie (napríklad spoločný juniorský classic pre dievčatá i chlapcov).
Vekové kategórie:
- Juniori (10-18 rokov) – Súťažiaci ktorí v kalendárnom roku 2024 dosiahli alebo dosiahnu 10 rokov veku a zároveň ešte nepatria do seniorskej kategórie.
- Seniori (19+) – Súťažiaci, ktorí v kalendárnom roku 2024 dosiahli a alebo dosiahnu plných 19 rokov.
- Kids battle do 10 rokov – Deti, ktoré v kalendárnom roku súťaže nedosiahnu 10 rokov.
Deti do 10 rokov, ak by chceli predviesť classic choreografiu pred divákmi, bude im to po predchádzajúcej dohode umožnené, avšak vystúpenie nebude bodované v rámci World Skate rebríčka.
Kids battle pravidlá: Deti súťažia v skupinách približne po 4, ako umožní počet prihlásených. Každý zo závodníkov počas 30 sekúnd predvedie svoje najlepšie korčuliarske prvky. Rozhodcovia rozhodnú ktorí dvaja zo skupiny postupujú do ďaľšieho kola, až po finále. Pravidlá sú analogické Freestyle Battle pravidlám, avšak deti budú mať k dispozícii iba jedno 30 sekundové kolo v danej skupine.

Vylúčenie zodpovednosti a zdravotné poistenie
Usporiadateľ podujatia nepreberá zodpovednosť za zranenia ani za vecné škody na majetku zúčastnených osôb. Všetci účastníci sa zúčastňujú na vlastné riziko a vlastnú zodpovednosť.
Každý korčuliar je zodpovedný za použitie alebo nepoužitie adekvátnych ochranných prostriedkov (chrániče rúk, kolien, prilba). Každý účastník zodpovedá za svoje vlastné správanie. Organizátori si vyhradzujú právo odmietnuť účasť na súťaži v zvláštnych prípadoch bez udania dôvodu.
Závodník registráciou vyhlasuje, že jeho zdravotný stav a fyzická kondícia umožňuje účasť na športovej súťaži. Taktiež je závodník zodpovedný za uzatvorenie dostatočného zdravotné poistenia, ktoré by pokrylo prípadné zranenia utŕžené počas súťaže. Účastník súťaže dáva organizátorom právo byť vylúčený zo súťaže, ak jeho správanie ohrozuje jeho alebo ostatných účastníkov. Účastník súťaže súhlasí so spracovaním svojich osobných údajov organizátormi a poskytnutím týchto informácií organizácii World Skate. Závodník súhlasí, že fotky zo súťaže, na ktorých sa bude nachádzať, môžu byť použité organizátormi bez nároku na kompenzáciu (napr. zdieľané na sociálnych sieťach). Účastník súťaže nebude brať organizátorov na zodpovednosť v prípade krádeže, alebo poškodenia svojich osobných vecí.
Protesty
Protest možno podať po zverejnení výsledkov u riaditeľa pretekov za poplatok 50 €.

Introduction
Welcome to the freestyle slalom skating competition, which will take place on Saturday 16th of November 2024 in the sports hall in Badín, close to the city of Zvolen, Slovakia.
The competition is organised as a 1-star (“basic”) event under the World Skate (WS) and Zväz slovenského kolieskového korčuľovania (ZSKK). The competition is hosted by Freestyle škola korčuľovania Zvolen.
These are the competition disciplines:
- Freestyle slalom classic (juniors, seniors)
- Freestyle slalom battle (juniors, seniors)
- Kids battle (under 10 years old)
Competitor registration and fees
To register to take part in the competition disciplines please fill in the registration form until 9.11.2024.
If you are going to compete in the Freestyle Classic category, please send your music to the organiser’s email as an MP3 labelled surname_name.mp3 until 9.11.2024.
The competition is open to the public and the audience does not pay any fees.
Registration fee for competitors is 20 EUR, with the exception of the “Kids Battle under 10 years” with a registration fee of 10 EUR. The fee is going to be paid at the place of the competition.
The competitors are covering by themselves the expenses that are not directly related to competing itself, such as accommodation, food and drinks.
Time table
This is a preliminary time table. It is subject to change before the actual competition date depending on the number of registered competitors in the individual categories. Which disciplines are going to be divided into mens and womens and which ones are going to be combined/mixed is also preliminary and is subject to change depending on the skaters who register.

Competition rules
The judging will be done according to the latest revision of the World Skate rules:
- The official World Skate rules for inline freestyle.
- Slovak version
We welcome both experienced and new skaters that have not competed under the World Skate rules yet. You can use either inline or quad skates. Women and men will compete in separate categories – however in the case of insufficient number of competitors in a category we might need to merge men and women into a mixed category (for example junior classic with both girls and boys competing together).
Age groups:
- Juniors (10-18 years) – Competitors that became 10 years old or are going to reach full 10 years in the calendar year of the competition, and they do not yet belong to the senior category.
- Seniors (19+) – Competitors that in the calendar year 2024 reached or are going to reach full 19 years of age.
- Kids battle under 10 years – Children that are not going to reach 10 years of age in the calendar year of the competition.
If there are any children under 10 years that would like to showcase their freestyle classic choreography can be allowed to do so (after a prior agreement with the organisers), however their performance will not be assigned points at the competition and in the World Skate ranking.
Kids battle rules: The children compete in groups of around 4 (depending on the numbers of registered kids). Each competitor is going to perform their best skating tricks in a period of 30 seconds. The judges are going to decide which 2 children pass to the next round, and so on until the final round. The rules are analogous to Freestyle Battle for juniors and seniors, however the kids are going to have only one 30 second round in their group.

Exclusion of Liability and Health Insurance
The organisers can not be held responsible for injuries or material harm suffered by the competition attendees during their trip, accommodation and actual competing at the event. The attendees are taking part in the competition at their own risk and their own responsibility.
Each skater is responsible for usage and condition of his/her protective equipment (or lack thereof) such as knee pads or helmet. Every participant is responsible for his or her own acting. Organisers reserve the right to deny participation in individual cases without giving reasons.
By registering the competitors declare to be in an adequate health and physical condition to participate in the competition. The competitors declare that they have sufficient health insurance to cover any accidents that can happen during the competition. The competition attendees give organisers the right to be excluded from the competition if their behaviour puts themselves or others at risk of harm. The competitors agree that the information they provide during registration can be collected by the organisers and forwarded to the World Skate. The competitors agree that their photos taken during the competition can be used without compensation by the organisers (e.g. shared to social media).
The attendees will not hold organisers liable in the event of theft or damage to their personal items.
Protests
After the competition results are published, any protests can be raised with the competition director for a fee of 50 €.
